After placing your order, you’ll receive instructions for submitting your personal statement through our secure online portal.

Your application advisor will carefully review your draft and provide detailed comments, suggestions, and edits to help you strengthen the clarity, organization, and overall effectiveness of your statement.

Your edited document will be returned within the delivery timeframe you select: 24 hours or five days.

You can then review the feedback and decide which changes you would like to incorporate. If you have questions about any of the comments or recommendations, you are welcome to follow up with your advisor for clarification.

We review both the content and writing of your personal statement.

You will remain in control of your final statement and can decide which recommendations you would like to incorporate.

We do not make changes directly to your original writing. Instead, your advisor adds suggestions, edits, and explanations as comments in the margins of your document.

This allows you to see exactly what we are recommending and why. You can then review each comment and decide which changes you would like to incorporate into your final personal statement.

Your statement will always remain in your voice, and you will have complete control over the final draft.

If you select five-day delivery, your edited personal statement will be returned within five calendar days of submission.

Weekends are included in the turnaround time, so Saturdays and Sundays count toward the five-day delivery period.

Yes. If you need help organizing your ideas before you begin writing, there are two ways to work with us.

The MSW Writing Workshop is a self-paced course that walks you through the personal statement process step by step. Through approximately two hours of video lessons and guided worksheets, you’ll develop your central narrative, organize your responses, and create a rough draft you can continue refining.

For personalized support, you can also book a call with an application advisor. During your session, your advisor can help you map out your statement, interpret application prompts, choose the strongest examples to include, and answer questions about your overall application.

No. Every personal statement submitted to MSW Helper is reviewed by a human application advisor.

We do not use AI to generate your feedback, critique your statement, or make editing recommendations. Your advisor personally reviews your application prompts and draft, drawing on their knowledge of social work, MSW admissions, and personal statement writing.
