  • After you submit your order, you will be prompted to send your personal statement in via email. Then, we’ll take it from there!

    We will thoroughly review your personal statement and leave you detailed comments. Your personal statement will be sent back to you within the timeframe you select (24 hour or 5-day delivery)

    Then you will make final changes based on your discretion. If you have any questions we are happy to answer any questions about the feedback we provide!

  • We take a look at what you wrote and ensure that your experience and skillset connects with what the schools of social work are looking for in a cohesive and thematic manner. We’ll dissect things that are unclear, make sure you're integrating social work lingo, and make your writing polished.

    We also do light editing for grammar and spelling. That said, our hope is that the draft you send in has already been proofread by you ahead of time. We want to make your final draft the best it can be and catch mistakes you may have missed!

  • We make NO changes to your original document. Instead, all suggestions and edits are added as "comments" in the margins of your paper. That way, you can choose to integrate the suggestions or ignore at your discretion.

  • No, we can not write your personal statement for you. Not only is it unethical/plagiarism, but the whole purpose of a personal statement is that it's personal. Only you can explain why you want to pursue graduate school.

    The Writing Workshop is a self-paced course where I have recorded everything you need to know to write a strong personal statement. You’ll go through the process I take applicants through to support them in writing their personal statement.

    It takes about 2 hours to watch all the videos and complete the worksheets, and by end you’re going to have your rough draft ready to go!

    This is an efficient and affordable option compared to meeting with me one to one. I’m confident that the Writing Workshop will help you write a top notch personal statement.

  • Yes! We often work with applicants who are applying to social science programs, such as counselling, clinical psychology, public health, public policy, education, sociology, and political science.

  • There is often a lot of overlap between personal statements, even if the requirements differ slightly. For that reason we suggest editing one personal statement at a time so that you can integrate our feedback with each copy.

    Our system only allows applicants to order one personal statement per day. If you prefer to have us edit all of your personal statements at once please send an email to info@mswhelper.com for a quote and custom checkout link.

  • That depends on which service you choose. If you choose to have us review your personal statement, standard delivery time is 5 days. However, we do offer an express 24 hour service as well (so you can meet those deadlines!)

    The workshop and guides all have instant access, so that you can get the information you need to write a strong personal statement right away.

  • If you select 5-day delivery your personal statement will be delivered within 5 days of submission.

    Saturday and Sunday count towards the 5-day delivery timeline!
